General Year Information – 1967 Oldsmobile Toronado Facts
The 1967 Toronado was distinguished by a slight facelift, the addition of optional disc brakes, and a slightly softer ride. Slight interior cosmetic changes were made with the Strato bucket seats were again available, however the vast majority of customers ordered the standard Strato bench seat to take full advantage of the flatter floor resulting from the front-drive. Vinyl roof covering was now available. A stereo tape player was optional. Sales dropped by nearly half, to 21,790.

- Vinyl Roof Covering Makes an Appearance
- Disc Brakes Added as an Option
- Bucket Seats Remained an Option

Vinyl roof covering was now an option. while it dad add to the formal appearance, many Toronado aficionados considered it as having a negative impact on the car’s clean, crisp styling.

After some complaints about brake fade and inconsistent stopping, Power Disc Brakes (J52) were offered as an option.

Bucket seats were offered as an option once again, but few Toronado owners opted for them. The Idea of 3-across seating with a flat front floor was just too appealing to the majority of buyers.
