General Year Information

On the engineering front, changes were significant to the 1960 model. A new rear suspension sway-bar improved the car’s handling. Aluminum cylinder heads and radiator were introduced but later withdrawn when service problems surfaced. Horsepower reverted to the 1959 numbers.
