SAE Paper – Bendix Electrojector Electronic Fuel Injection System (8.5 x 11.0) 9 pages Individual views

NOTE: This paper was submitted in January 1957 – prior to the testing in a live model of a 1957 Chrysler 300C. That encouraged Chrysler to offer it as an option in 1958 on all Chrysler Corporation engines, in the Chrysler Hemi and in the 350 and 361 CID B Blocks in the DeSoto, Dodge and Plymouth lines. It was withdrawn from service due to AM radio station interference with its analog signaling and service issues. This speed density computerized system is the father of the systems we use in today’s engine management and many of the components and designs are still in use.
